ABOUT THE AUTHOR: MARLI TOBIAS CHAVES is a Licensed Education Psychologists & Social Emotional Learning Specialist for Middle and High School students. Marli has an extensive academic background, she holds a Master of Science in Education; complemented by postgraduate studies in Active Methodology and specialization in Clinical and Institutional Psychology of Education; and a bachelors degree in Arts of Languages. With more than ten years of teaching experience, Marli has transformed lives and relationships, achieving exponential results with her students. Born in 1972, in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, Marli was inspired by the values of solidarity , empathy, and compassion that learned from her mother. She has always acted out of a deep sense of purpose and shared humanity, and since 2014, she has been active extensively in the field of Educational Research and Evaluation. At present, Marli resides in New York, with her husband and two children. Passionate about the education system, Marli continues to positively influence the lives of everyone around her through education, while also dedicating herself to her family and her unwavering faith.
