Maria Salomea Sklodowska was born in November 7, 1867, in Poland. After studying in a clandestine university there, she moved to Paris, where she earned her higher degrees and met her husband Pierre Curie. With him, she won her first Nobel Prize, in Physics, and later, she won her second Nobel Prize, in Chemistry, solely.
